Using stock photos

An essential element of websites that set a good first impression use
great photos. My coworker often says, "the photos you use can make or
break your design." A great photo sets a mood or evokes a certain
emotion. Don't use grainy, clutter-filled photos from your flip phone.
If you can afford it, hire a model and a professional photographer.
For the rest of us, use stock photos.
Stock photos are photos for sale taken by professionals. The professional offers their photos for sale on a stock photo agent's website. The stock photo agent takes a small commission on each sale. Stock photos are generally inexpensive, usually about a dollar or two. A good stock photo website offers a great search function, making it easy to find the images you're looking for.
