  • How long have you been in business?
    Websites For Quilters began in March of 2005 by offering affordable website hosting to small businesses.  From there we started offering programming, design, and marketing services for businesses in the sewing, crafting and quilting industries.  We attended our first International Quilt Market in the spring of 2007.
  • Do you do work outside the Quilting industry?
    Yes, we do.  We handle web development for non-quilting businesses through our sister company, Velocity Webworks.
  • Who / what is Danemco?
    You may have heard us referred to as Danemco.  The founder of the company is Dan Purcell. His wife's name is Emily. When they formed the company in 2005, they put their names together to get Danemco (Dan(iel) + Em(ily) + co(mpany)).  "Danemco" has a lot of meaning to us, but very little meaning to those that hear the name "Danemco" the first time, so we go by "Websites For Quilters" instead.
  • What is your business philosophy?
    Our mission is to provide excellent website solutions through superior service, and have fun while doing it.  We invest the majority of our resources on perfecting our products and services.  Because we depend heavily on referrals for business growth, we work very hard to satisfy our client's needs. We realize that we are only successful if our clients are successful.
  • How long does it take to create my website?
    We have a few different phases for development. First, we assign your project to a professional designer. After this phase, your site goes into programming. We then produce a test website that you can load content to and approve before going live. Depending on how fast you communicate with our team, we can usually get a site live in a matter of weeks.
  • Do you do logos, website hosting, iPhone apps, Facebook apps, etc?
    The short answer: Yes.  We are a full service web development company that employs the brightest and most talented software programmers and designers in the region.  This mix of talent helps us be nimble and agile in our offerings. We have developed many websites and software programs over the years.  There hasn't been a challenge we haven't been able to overcome yet.
  • Can I edit my own website?
    Yes. We created the Dash content management system just for you. Don't sacrifice functionality for your website, take control of your content with our system. The look of your website is handled by a professional designer and updates are a breeze. Simply contact us with any questions.

    We sincerely care about our clients. We provide 1-on-1 training, unlimited technical support, tutorials, webinars, educational blog posts and marketing consultations. We also have extremely talented programmers that can build a custom solution for any request that you may have.
