The Web Development Process
What is the process for getting your website completed, from start to finish? This page explains the steps and what you can expect with your website.

Site Planning & Graphic Design
We begin with a questionnaire and a consultation about what you want your website to look like. Things to consider at this stage include the general mood of your site, the colors, fonts, branding elements, visitor interaction, and other elements necessary to set the stage for an awesome website. Your graphic designer will go to work and create a few drafts and revisions of the website. We keep you in the loop in every step of the way. Once your design is completed, it is converted to HTML (web page code) and sent to the programming team.
Programming
The second stage of the website development process is the programming phase. In this phase, we convert what the designers created into a living, breathing website. The Dash system, the shopping cart system, blog system, and other components of your site are installed and styled. The web pages for your site are also created at this stage. Once the programming is complete, you'll be given a special preview link you can use to access your website. We call this the beta site.
Loading Content
The third stage is for loading content. Content is the text, pictures, videos, products, and other information that should go on your website. This stage can be daunting for most, as it does require the website owner to think creatively about the wording of the pages should be -- but don't worry, we're here to help. We can consult and offer guidance on the best elements you should consider when writing or providing the copy needed for the website. Professional writing services are available if needed.
Polishing
The fourth step is what we like to call the polishing stage. With the programming and the content in place, we go through your website carefully to make sure it looks good when your website goes live.
Training, Testing & Go Live
The last and most exciting step is when your website goes live. Your website is tested across several browsers and goes through our five page checklist to make sure everything is ready for launch. We train you. one-on-one, on how to update your website. We then set a date in the near future for your website launch.
Your Dedicated Project Manager
You will have a dedicated project manager to assist you every step of the way. The project manager's role is to oversee the development of your website from beginning to finish.
